I never knew so much freedom
following, obeying HIM
learning to say "no" even when clearly aware of
repercussions
listening to God's voice
not everyone else's'
choosing carefully your priorities
resisting the good for
the best
embracing age aging rocks!!

DINEOUT
Pleasantly surprised!
Inlets Bistro and Lounge Blue Horizon Hotel $15 - 3 course meal 604.688.1411
According to THE SUN, the wait staff can be a bit rude and irritated because they are tired after the Christmas and New Year's dinning bout - not so here, warm and welcoming, then hard working.
Really liked these: Appy: Crab cakes, 3 generous sized ones (not the cioppino) Entree: Grilled veggies in phyllo pastry (again, couldn't believe it tastes so good) and the Stuffed Chicken Desert: only one choice choco mousse--not too heavy, not too sweet--has kumquat preserves, very nice touch.
Great value for your $$ Highly recommended

| JOY
Talking to somebody today and he told me someone is carrying a LOT of baggage
HUH??!!?? I happened to know who this person is and it's TRUE
So, how did he know? I asked? Because this person's countenance does not show JOY

Compassion
has been defined as coming alongside someone, not in frantic teaching or pushing, no matter how good the intentions.
Coming alongside is patience, walking with a person, maybe for many miles before you know what is really going on.
Coming alongside takes time.
In the parable of the good Samaritan, I see myself like the other two ahead of the Samaritan... toobusytostoptoobusytoinquiretoobusytostoopbenddownkneel.
What did Jesus say LOVE is again?
